A Brief Reading

This is my first attempt, on my own, to add a video to this blog. As I type, the machine tells me that the video is "loading." We shall see. If this works, I will do more. I hope everyone will bear in mind my utter lack of technological sophistication, and will forgive these first, crude efforts. With time and experience, I may become sufficiently accomplished as to actually make this a more regular feature here. I hope to. Wish me luck.

  1. I'm going to enjoy these videos, mostly because it's been years since I've seen you in person, so I get to take measure... figuratively, of course. The vest is good. So serious, though--almost theatrical. It makes me want to place you along side famous persons for senseless comparison. I've never heard Edmund White read, but you're as I imagine him sounding (though I see him with a bit more devilish humor). Perhaps next time, to indulge me, you might read a passage from "The Joys of Gay Sex." haha No, next time, or maybe the next, I promise to attend more to the content.

  2. Ed White sounds better, but I will try my best. Too bad you won't be here in December for my annual reading of Capote's A Christmas Memory. Getting good at that one. Now, let me see, do I still have that 1st edition Joy of Gay Sex somewhere? ...
